What is this I don't even.

This started off as a random doodle in photoshop in A151.

It's far from complete, but I don't want to work on it anymore, it would be best if I invested my time into another piece.

I just moved paint around until I got an idea.

The monster didn't come in until halfway through the painting.

Overall, I'm quite unhappy with the results seeing how it took me a week to finish with random sessions. 

There are many problems with this piece especially anatomically and compositional. I am in serious need a life drawing tutor.

Working on this taught me quite a bit though...

Lessons learned = Plan stuff out before painting (context and especially poses), context, contrast and lasso tool.

Also, I need to do a hair and cloth study.

I was talking to Diane about perms and noticed that almost all the korean girls in 1st year have permed hair which lead me to paint this!

btw, roses have thorns.
